QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 On the Clyde for the last time : I had the privilege to be on board Western Ferries SOUND of SCALPAY when she made a special cruise to meet QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 on the Cunarders final visit to the Clyde, the river of her birth, before her retirement to Dhubia. A wonderful, emotional and very memorable experience, many thanks to all at WF. Bon voyage grand lady.

SOUND of SCARBA cruise 11th June 2008 : Western Ferries vessels day to day work is on the route from McInroys Point (Gourock) to Hunters Quay (Dunoon) This cruise was a break from the normal routine and was organised for members of The Clyde River Steamer Club (C.R.S.C.) The weather was kind and we had a wonderful sail, thanks to all.
